Translated as “great polarity fist,” Zheng Manqing’s 37-posture taijiquan is a Chinese internal martial art that is founded on the union of opposites (yin and yang).  Classes consist of neigong warmup followed by partner practice, push-hands, and forms practice, including the 37 posture form; a sequence of slow, fluid movements that build strength, balance, and coordination.  Taijiquan combines the strength of xingyiquan and the flexibility of baguazhang to lay a solid martial foundation as well as promote inner harmony and peace.
